Stories and melodies of Inle Lake - Tour

First, we will head to a local family’s home, riding picturesque roads through villages typical of the area. Here, we will spend time with the family, listening to their stories about life on the lake, while we learn how to make local snacks. Once we are done making and tasting the snacks we will be heading back to town, stopping along the way to catch some beautiful shots of the sun setting over the lake.

Next, we will get back on the bikes and head over to an authentic local restaurant for an evening of fun. Accompanied by one of our expert guides, it will be time to indulge in some of Shan people’s favorite pastimes: music and Cane ball. Local musicians will be waiting for you, eager to share their love of music and play authentic Shan melodies. In between snacks and drinks, your guide will invite you to play some Cane ball, a traditional sport popular in this area.
